Working with Images in Medical Records

In Patient Manager you can assign Images to any Patient or Medical Record. The images are stored in the database and are available to all the users of the system.

Setting the Patient Photo

Attach a photo to a Patient by creating or opening an existing Patient, and then clicking the Browse Photo link.

Manage Images in the Medical Records

You can add Imagesto any Medical Record. Images can be imported from the file system or captured directly from Media Devices like digital cameras, scanners or other devices.

For example, to attach a lab result image to a Consultation, create a new Consultation. In the Consultation Editor select the Images tab and press the Attach Image From File menu button. Next browse on you disk for the image you want to attach and press the Open button. To save the Consultation with the Image attached press the Save and Close button.

The attached Images can be later edited directly from the Patient Manager application with the default image editor installed on your system, by simply double clicking them in a Medical Record editor.
