Report Templates

If you need help creating Report Templates, send your template as a Word or RTF document to support@vertikalsystems.com and we'll build them for you. |
About Report Templates
Report Templates are definitions of reports that stored in the database. Each Report Template has a corresponding report in the Reports Folder. New Report Templates can be defined and existing can be edited. Any modification to a Report Template affects all the users using the reports generated from that template.

Note that defining a Report Template requires knowledge of the underlying database structure and knowledge of the SQL language |
Creating a New Report Template
1. Click the New button on the toolbar.
2. Use the Mail Merge Editor to define Report Template.
3. Click the Save and Close button to save the Report Template.
Editing a Report Template
1. Select a Report Template and click the Edit button on the toolbar.
2. Use the Mail Merge Editor to edit Report Template.
3. Click the Save and Close button to save the Report Template.
Deleting a Report Template
1. Select a Report Template in the viewer and click the Delete button on the toolbar.
2. Click the Yes button to confirm. The selected Report Template is deleted.

Note that removing a Report Template will remove the corresponding report from the the Reports Folder. |
