Patient Video Recordings

About Patient Video Recordings

The Patient Video Recordings Folder contains the list of the Patient Video Recordings for a specified Patient. Initially the list is empty because there is no Patient selected. In order to manage Patient Video Recordings, a Patient must be selected. To select a Patient there are two ways:

Click the Search Patient button on the toolbar. This will allow the selection of a Patient from all the recorded Patients.
Type one or more keywords in the Patient text box and click the Search Patient button on the toolbar. This will filter the selection of a Patient by the specified keywords.

Add a New Patient Video Recording

1. Click the Add Video Recording button on the toolbar.
2. Browse and select one or more video files. Click Open.

Record a New Patient Video Recording

1. Click the Record button on the toolbar.
2. Capture the movie from the Media Device and click Save and Close.

Note that using Media Device functionality, requires that Media Device items to be defined.

Editing a Patient Video Recording

1. Select a Patient Video Recording item and click the Edit button on the toolbar.
2. After editing the Patient Video Recording with the specific application program, Save the changes in order for the content of the Patient Video Recording to be updated.

Note that editing a Patient Video Recording requires that you have the application program that supports its file type.

Rename a Patient Video Recording

1. Select a Patient Video Recording item and click the Rename button on the toolbar.
2. Type a new name for the renamed Patient Video Recording and press Enter.

Deleting a Patient Video Recording

1. Select a Patient Video Recording item and click the Delete button on the toolbar.
2. Click Yes in the confirmation box.

Removing a Patient Video Recording will remove any related records linked to that Patient Video Recording.
