Patient History
About Patient History
The Patient History Folder contains the list of the Patient History items
for a specified Patient. Patient History items can have the type Consultation,
Diagnostic, Treatment or Medical Service. Initially the list is empty because
there is no Patient selected. In order to manage Patient History items, a
Patient must be selected. To select a Patient there are two ways:
- Click the Search Patient button on the toolbar. This will allow the
selection of a Patient from all the recorded Patients.
- Type one or more keywords in the Patient text box and click the Search
Patient button on the toolbar. This will filter the selection of a Patient
by the specified keywords.
Editing a Patient History item
1. Select a Patient History item and click the Edit button
on the toolbar.
2. Change information in the Patient History Item Editor. Use the Tab key to
move from box to box.
3. Click the Save and Close button to save the record.
Deleting a Patient History item
1. Select a Patient History item and click the Delete button
on the toolbar.
2. Click Yes in the confirmation box.

Note that removing a Patient History
item will remove any related records linked to that Patient
History item. |
Using the Patient History item Editor
The Patient History item Editor is the editor used to edit an existing
Patient History item.
Filling the fields in the Patient History item Editor:
- Name the Patient History item in the Title text box.
- Edit the Patient History item details in the Details box.
- When finished, click the Save and Close button to save the record.
Additionally you can:
- Change the Patient History item Date in the Date box.
- Change the Medic in the Medic box.
- Insert a Questionnaire into the Patient History item details, by
clicking the Insert Questionnaire button. If more Questionnaires are
available for the Patient History item, select one from the prompted
list.
- Manage the Images attached to the Patient History item:
- Attach images to the Patient History item, by clicking the
Attach Image From File button or Record Image button.
- Edit an attached Image by clicking the Edit Image button.
- Rename an attached Image by clicking the Rename button.
- Detach an attached Image by clicking Detach Image button.
Please note, that by detaching an Image will not remove the Image
from the database. The Image will be available in the Patient
Images folder.
