A Distribution is a list of contacts, grouped together so that they could be managed as a single entity (sending mail, assigning tasks).
Distributions can be managed in the same viewer as Contacts.

 

Adding a New Distribution

1. Click the Add Distribution button on the toolbar.


2. From the list of available contacts, select the contacts you want to add to the distribution list and move those to teh selected list.

3. Enter information in the text boxes. Use the Tab key to move to the next text box.

4. Fill in the relevant details in all the tabs (Name, Home, Business, Bank Accounts, References and Notes).

5. Click the Save and Close button to save the distribution list.

 

Editing a Distribution

1. Select a distribution in the viewer and click the Edit button on the toolbar. The Distribution Editor opens.

2. Modify the distribution details and click the Save and Close button to update the modifications.

 

Deleting a Distribution

1. Select a distribution in the viewer and click the Delete button on the toolbar.

2. Click the Yes button to confirm. The selected distribution is deleted..

 

Sharing a Distribution.

1. In the Contacts viewer, right-click a Distribution and select Sharing from the context menu. The Sharing viewer opens.

 2. There are options to allow only the owner to modify the distribution or allow everyone to access and modify. Select the appropriate option. You can also choose the users who can access and modify the distribution. Go to the Advanced Sharing tab. Click the Add button to add the users who can access and modify the distribution.

3. Click the Save and Close button to save the access

.

Filtering and Searching Distributions

Press the Search button. The search control is displayed. Input your search criteria and press Enter or the Find Now button. The matching records are displayed.
