Diagnostics
About Diagnostics
The Diagnostics Folder contains the list of the Diagnostics for a specified Patient. Initially the list is empty because there is no Patient selected. In order to manage Diagnostics, a Patient must be selected. To select a Patient there are two ways:
- Click the Search Patient button on the toolbar. This will allow the selection of a Patient from all the recorded Patients.
- Type one or more keywords in the Patient text box and click the Search Patient button on the toolbar. This will filter the selection of a Patient by the specified keywords.
Create a New Diagnostic
1. Click the New Diagnostic button on the toolbar.
2. Enter information in the Diagnostic Editor. Use the Tab key to move from box to box.
3. Click the Save and Close button to save the record.
Edit an existing Diagnostic
1. Select a Diagnostic item and click the Edit button on the toolbar.
2. Change information in the Diagnostic Editor. Use the Tab key to move from box to box.
3. Click the Save and Close button to save the record.
Delete an existing Diagnostic
1. Select a Diagnostic item and click the Delete button on the toolbar.
2. Click Yes in the confirmation box.

Removing a Diagnostic will remove any related records linked to that Diagnostic. |
Using the Diagnostic Editor
The Diagnostic Editor is the editor used to create a new Diagnostic or edit an existing one.
Filling the fields in the Diagnostic Editor:
- Name the Diagnostic in the Title text box.
- Edit the Diagnostic details in the Details box.
- When finished, click the Save and Close button to save the record.
Additionally you can:
- Change the Diagnostic Date in the Date box.
- Change the Medic who makes the Diagnostic in the Medic box.
- Insert a Questionnaire into the Diagnostic details, by clicking the Insert Questionnaire button. If more Questionnaires are available for the Diagnostic, select one from the prompted list.
- Manage the Images attached to the Diagnostic:
- Attach images to the Diagnostic, by clicking the Attach Image From File button or Record Image button.
- Edit an attached Image by clicking the Edit Image button.
- Rename an attached Image by clicking the Rename button.
- Detach an attached Image by clicking Detach Image button. Please note, that by detaching an Image will not remove the Image from the database. The Image will be available in the Patient Images folder.
