Calendar

This is the calendar and scheduling component of Vertikal Systems applications, and is fully integrated with contacts, and other features. You can view a day, week, or month at once.

Scheduling Consultations and Events

Just as you would write in a paper-based organizer, you can click on any time slot in the Calendar and begin typing. New gradient colors makes it easy to quickly see the current day and time. The current day is highlighted only in the Day and Work Week views. You can categorize the items, assign colors and images so as to identify similar events easily.

Viewing multiple calendars

You can view multiple calendars that you have created as well as those shared by other users side-by-side. For example, if you have created a separate calendar for your personal appointments, you can view both your work and personal calendars side-by-side.

You can also copy or move appointments between the displayed calendars. Depending on the permissions granted by the calendar owner, you can create or modify appointments on shared calendars.

Managing another user's calendar

You can use your copy of the application to manage another person's calendar. For example, an administrative assistant can manage the calendar of a manager. When the manager designates the assistant as a delegate, the assistant can create, move, or delete appointments and can organize meetings on the manager's behalf.

Using easy time navigation
A time navigation tool will assist you to navigate between the different views and dates in Calendar and can also be used as a target for automatic re-scheduling of appointments via drag and drop.

Setting notifications

For any scheduled event or consultation you can define a Reminder. You will be notified when the event or consultation is about to start. You can easily dismiss or snooze the reminders.

Defining filters

You can define filters to display the events matching a particular criteria.

Managing Categories and Resources
You can define and edit as many as necessary categories and resources to get a maximum flexibility and efficiency in managing your activity.
